Through the Family and Faith program, parents – as the first educators of their children – are invited into a deeper and more intimate relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.
Guided by our Family Educator, Alida Bila, parents and carers at St Gertrude’s Catholic Primary School Smithfield are provided with a range of opportunities to connect with and live out their faith.
These include pilgrimages, outreach programs, Masses, weekly prayer, parent workshops and links to parish Sacramental programs.
At St Gertrude’s we value the vital role parents and families play in the lives of the students. These opportunities are planned to nourish and support parents and families on their faith journey.
